Pokerstars and Full Tilt poker have entered an agreement with the US DOJ to resume operations on their independent .com names. US players will be allowed to log in, update and withdraw their money. However, US players will be blocked from playing online poker as part of the agreement. The tone of the agreement is surprisingly upbeat and strangely cooperative from the DOJ with the agreement allowing for an independent observer to observe the mass “cash out”.

However, according to press releases from FTP and PS the agreement failed to open a payment processing channel to US players seeking to withdraw funds from their online accounts. FTP has indicated that while the DOJ claims no player funds were targeted or marked for seizure a full accounting of all the companies assets may be required.
